Genius Night was great! There were lots of really cool creations.
It was clear that a lot of imagination and energy went into building
them. Some Scouts got awards for their projects, but everyone
should be proud of their work. Thanks to all the parents who donated
parts and helped to assemble the kits.

Awards

Congratulations to all the Wolf Cubs in Den 8 who earned their
Bobcat badge: Ryan B., Travis B., Spencer B., Matthew D., Bryan
E., Robby H., Justin J., Simon K., Shota S. and Justin Y. This
looks like a great group of boys to take Pack 6 into the next
millenium!
Dan M., Nathan P., Adam W. and Alex F. received their Webelos
Scientist badges. Jimmy B., Kevin R., Zachary H., and Seth D.
earned their Webelos Citizen badges. Tim D. earned Citizen and
Artist, and Justin S. earned Citizen and got a Compass Point.
Joshua M., Michael B., Phillip W. and Benjamin P. got their Webelos
Communicator badges. Andy O., Gaurav S. and Nikolos K. received
soccer belt loops, and Phillip W. deserves special commendation
for earning his soccer pin in addition to the belt loop.

Field trip to the USS Hornet
|
We had a great turnout for this extremely interesting field
trip! There were so many different levels and things to see that
even a three-hour tour was not enough. The docents were great
and did a good job of answering all our questions. Thanks to Mike
P. for making the arrangements for this field trip.
Next month's pack meeting is our annual banquet and will not
be held at Palo Verde. Keep in touch with your Den Leader for
more information.
